Design in India has come to forefront to innovate and create newer products because of economic growth and increasing buying power. Hence Design would be in the first and foremost position to leverage the growth in Industry.
‘Design 1st’ Conference is an initiative to network the Designers from Corporate World and Design Institutions. It is intended to discuss the total scenario of Product Design and Development and the strategic role of Product Designer.
Thus ‘Design 1st’ is an attempt to realize the power of Design to benefit all the stakeholders by putting Design in forefront. |

In view of these objectives, the conference will focus on the design works these could make a positive impact on strategic thinking, process and innovation as for future sustainability. It welcomes papers in the area of industrial and consumer product design from established designers, practitioners, academicians, students and entrepreneurs. |
